Yep, Giancarlo Stanton fell to me and I scooped him up at pick #14. Frankly I was really surprised.. Then I was able to back it up with a guy named Stephen Strasburg.

Before I start to research and plan my attack on rounds 3 and 4 lets recap the first 17 picks.

The only real surprises to me were picks 12 + 13.  To see two pitchers go off the board before Stanton was amazing.  I think I am dealing with a unpredictable guy behind me so that should make for an interesting draft.  I think he went way off the board and took Harper and Upton back to back.  We will see.  Ill let the draft gain some more life before I dive into coming up with a plan.  But right now I have to take an infielder off the boarder and I may back up Strasburg with another stud pitcher.  We will see.
