I followed suit and took Stephen Drew who could easily be a starter for me if he is healthy and David Hernandez.  I feel much better about my closers now with 1 hand cuff already.

Duda me some Chen

Took Lucas Duda for power and some OF depth and Wei-Yin Chen.  Chen is the #2 in Baltimore so hopefully he can stay there throughout the season.  Not bad for my last starter to be a #2.  Looking ahead... I am a tad worried about some closer lotto tickets so I really want David Hernandez or Rex Brothers next round.. just in case.

Backing up closers

I will put some value into backing up Betancourt and Putz.  Ill try hard to get both David Hernandez.. and Rex Brothers.

Hernandez- ~R25ish he has gone as early as the 15th... I may take him soon

Nakajima and Welington

I got the two guys I wanted in Rounds 19 + 20.  That is where you really see why ADP is important.  I didn't panic and take these guys early I waited and got them at good value later in the draft.  2 high up side guys.  Now lets look at my starting line up and build backwards about what I need

MR - I want like venters, marshall someone like that can wait big time.

From here on out I will drafting by ADP value.  For example,  Ill target a bunch of guys in my picking area (-+ ~10 picks).  Let we look for need for my team.  It is critical that we don't draft a guy way early here now because we don't want to miss out on value from guys that are there.  People will be reaching for their needs so I want to capitalize on their mistakes.

Even if the pick doesn't quite fit into my needs I will prolly go value or need here now.  I am looking to take as many good players as possible now not players that I need.  All my positions are filled (for the most part) now I need to find guys that could be crazy good and draft them accordingly.  In these rounds guys that play multiple positions are sweet.

No real surprises pretty much going to NFBC ADP.  Some people teams are built very different from mine.  One team only has one SP for example.

Stand by your blog.

I almost went crazy and didn't stay true to plan.  But then I took a deep breathe and drafted the dudes I was planning on taking.  I took Ryan Vogelsong and Trevor Cahill.  Two pitchers who are reliable and will not hurt my era and whip.  Looking at other teams right now some are hurting for pitching so I want them to gamble with unknowns then get reliable starters.  Next two picks will be a catcher and a middle infielder.  No matter what.  I would love to get Welington Castillo and Nakajima.
